As a small town in Minnesota’s eastern region, the Rogers real estate market has a lot to offer to area residents. With about 4,000 current inhabitants of Rogers, homeowners can expect to enjoy the benefits of living in a small and secluded atmosphere while still having access to the conveniences and services of the nearby Twin Cities. With Interstate 94 and Highway 101 running close to Rogers, residents can use either of these major roadways as a quick route to Minneapolis, St. Paul or any other area of the state without the hassle of fighting a lot of traffic. In the last two decades, Rogers has experiences a growth in population and businesses moving in to enjoy the opportunities that are afforded to them. In fact, the population growth between 1990 and 2000 was a nearly 400 percent increase, making it one of the faster growing areas in the entire state. In recent years, the town has also completed construction on some modern school buildings so students in the area have their educational experiences without traveling to a neighboring community.

Rogers Real Estate

Although it’s a small town, Rogers homes for sale offer variety and luxury. Housing developments are being built and planned for new construction homes, but there are also some older homes with polished appearances. Potential homebuyers in Rogers will find many individual properties that are surrounded by wetlands and wooded areas, making them ideal places for raising horses or other livestock without nearby neighbors. Lavish residential areas include Dayspring Estates, Edgewater, Brockton Meadows and Sunset Hills Estates. Moderately-priced options are found in the Fletcher Hills Villas, Fox Creek West, King Estates and Mallard Estates, among others. Community events also abound for owners of Rogers homes for sale. The Rockin’ Rogers Days is town-sponsored every year and features three entire days of live music, fun and a marching band competition during the event’s Grand Parade. Some of the most talented musical acts in the region attend and entertain residents and there are several family-friendly activities to participate in, too. The Ellingson Car Museum is also found in Rogers and residents from neighboring communities often come to see the evolution of the automobile and some of the more interesting aspects of the industry as well.
